Abstract:
Wireless EM radiation relates to magnetization while the electrostatic and magnetic fields that travel alongside the conducting wires in transmission lines are associated with capacitance and linear polarization. This article will examine how these two phenomena may or may not be treated using the same electromagnetic wave equations.
