Abstract:
The elastic cord argument is used in this short article to show two possible reinterpretations of special relativity: either it is an incomplete theory that leaves undecided which spacetime deformations are apparent and which are real; or it is a theory that describes a physical world that is only apparently deformed.
Comments
Steve Olah(Laguna Woods, United States):
I vote for the "it is a theory that describes a physical world that is only apparently deformed" to suit the apparent observations of particular individuals.
