Abstract:
The existence of valid models of soft systems is discussed. The strict validity and i/o validity
definitions are recalled. The concept of model state for systems with human factor and the
influence of the collective memory are discussed. It is pointed out that the model state of an
ordinary differential inclusion (ODE) models is too limited to reflect the reality. The false
assumptions of the classic Lotka-Volterra and SIR model of epidemics are explained. The agentbased modeling method is used, to show the deficiency of the ODE model of epidemics
