Abstract:

This paper introduces a formal scenario characterized by the finite and discrete nature of all physical entities and magnitudes, including space and time. From this scenario, some basic elements that should be considered in the construction of a finite and discrete model for the observable universe are proposed. It is also proposed to start from models similar to those already known as cellular automata.
