Abstract:

Here it examines the question of why Michelson's attempts to discover an "ether wind" were unsuccessful. It is noted that the main reason for his failure was due to the fact that, when sizing his experimental set-ups, he did not take into account the fact that the speed of propagation of light in a given optical medium depends on the refractive index

I, too, consider that MMX-1887 failed because of internal flaws. MMX-1887 simply failed, Nothing was proven, Nothing was disproven. Nature did not reveal any secrets about the propagation of LIGHT, after all. I agree with Dr. Robert Bennett, Dr. Russell Arndts (deceased 2010) and Dr. Robert Sungenis that MMX-1887 scared and panicked the scientific community because a possible interpretation was a threat to the model of heliocentrism. I disagree with them that MMX-1887 PROVED the stationary Earth.
