Abstract:
The Heterodyne Resonance Mechanism (HRM) is predicted in the Basic Structures of Matter – Supergravitation Unified Theory (BSM-SG). The HRM effect takes place in a transient process of plasma. Neutral plasma with invoked self-oscillation mode and optical signature of glow discharge emits EM radiation in a broad spectral range. The spectrum comprises discrete frequencies; however, it differs from the atomic and molecular spectra. According to the BSM-SG models, the EM emission is caused by synchronized spin-flips of the electrons involved in ion-electron pairs. The ion-electron pair is a revealed dynamic feature of an electron bound to a positive ion at the experimentally observed Rydberg matter. The observed discrete spectra in the radiofrequency MHz range are unknown so far in the quantum mechanical properties of neutral plasma. The analysis leads to the conclusion that HRM effect occurs naturally in the lightning in the troposphere and the ionosphere. This explains the strong EM radiation emitted from lightning that causes disturbance in sensitive electronic devices and radio communications. Further study on the HRM effect may lead to technological recommendations for the protection of sensitive electronics
