Abstract:
In this second part of the article we consider certain mechanical phenomena that cannot be explained by special relativity either. All these phenomena have in common the motion of a physical object (for instance a photon) through another physical object (for instance a transparent medium) in turn in relative motion with respect to a given inertial reference frame. The results of applying the Lorentz Transformation to this type of double relative motion are incompatible with all practical and theoretical observations made on such phenomena, including sciences as optical crystallography. Consequently, these phenomena can only be analyzed in the proper reference frame of one of the objects (for example, of the transparent medium), which increases the incompleteness of the theory of special relativity, and makes proper reference frames special.
