Abstract:
In the previous article “Refraction of Single Photons vs Wave Theory”, we showed that the
refraction of a light beam at the boundary of two media is determined not by a change in the speed of light, as is assumed in Huygen's wave theory, but by the interaction of each individual photon with the atoms of the surface. This article shows that the interaction of photons with first atoms of the surface explains the change in the direction of photon movement not only when light is refracted at the interface between media, but also in all cases when a light beam meets a refracting or reflecting surface, including the total reflection of light
