Abstract:
Einstein’s goal for General Relativity was to define the geometry of spacetime as the causal nexus of physics, like the property of zero and one define the causal nexus of our modern computers. When he introduced the theory of General Relativity, he was aware that the geometry of spacetime was incomplete. He saw the reconciliation of the gravitational and electromagnetic fields as the final step required to complete that geometry. The missing element in the geometry is the ability to explain the quantization of energy. This paper describes the addition of complementary symmetry to the individual axes of space necessary to explain that quantization, completing the geometry of spacetime.
