Abstract:

A letter to Lord Martin Rees dated 17th March 2007, drawing attention to Maxwell's explanation for magnetic attraction and magnetic repulsion, and suggesting that Maxwell's theory would be completed by inserting a double helix infrastructure of electrons and positrons inside the magnetic field lines.
