Abstract:
The physical dimension of the neutral atom in the length scale is a century-long problem. It is not solved even for the hydrogen. This is the main reason for the quantum mechanical models of the atoms to work only by energy levels. The article suggests the existence of a space micro-curvature around the dense atomic nucleus. This provides solutions to two unsolved problems: the origin of the binding energy of the neutral atom and the boundary limit of the electron orbits. The physical model is applied for the hydrogen, but it could be propagated to all neutral atoms. It also shed a light on the strong nuclear forces. The suggested theoretical model works in the sub-nanometric scale. It would be helpful in the fields of nanotechnology, new materials, and multi-atomic compounds.
