Abstract:
Einstein's happiest thought was, as he says, the thought that gravity and inertia are one and the same thing. He overlooked the fact that there are two forces which are the only physical forces acting on all particles. The electromagnetic force, for example, acts only on charged particles. With such reasoning, Einstein came up with a theory that is completely at odds with reality. Unfortunately, young people (physicists) are so enthusiastic about Einstein's theory that they do not want to question it at all and try to justify everything for themselves. Only when they get older, they start to doubt the theory and then try to show what seems to be wrong with the theory of relativity. For example, L. Silberstein and H. Dingle first wrote books about the theory of relativity and then fought it until the end of their lives. The fight against the (wrong) relativity theory seems to be hopeless, because the whole community of physicists opposes it and even tries to present the criticism as unfounded with false explanations. Therefore, most critics become active only when they retire, because otherwise they have to fear that their professional life could suffer disadvantages.
