fringeshift, fresnel drag coefficient, phaseshift, aether, SRT
In 1886 Albert A. Michelson and Edward W. Morley repeated the experimen performed by Fizeau source 1 which was an improved apparatus to test the hypothesis regarding the partial drag introduced by Augustin Jean Fresnel in 1818. This drag coefficient was confirmed at it‘s best. Fortunately Michelson and Morley disclosed the calculation of one set of measurements (the so called sample 63). If one recalculate this, there seems to be at least severe inconsistencies in the calculation of Δ, the ratio of the mean displacement D and the mean fringe width W.
