rational numbers, irrational numbers, expofactorial numbers
This chapter introduces the expofactorial and n-expofactorial numbers: finite numbers of colossal size which are not anodyne sequences of zeroes but precise sequences of different numerals whose standard writing would be strings of numerals of a length millions of times greater than the diameter of the visible universe. It also introduces the method of the successive expansions from which it is possible to define a different rational number from each different irrational number within the real interval (0, 1).
