This work presents, in item 2, SYNTHESIS, a new wave mechanics of relativistic origin (hereafter referred to as Quantum Symmetrical Relativistic Mechanics. In item 3, ANALYSIS, we apply this new mechanic to the photon and, by several paths, we calculate its rest mass , m0y = 7, 37... . 10−51 kg ((30), (47), (94), (96) e (102)) and therefore the wavelength, λv, dependence of the speed of light, v, in free space (Table 1, column G). In this item, we also demonstrate that the old quantum theory has a relativistic origin. On the other hand, throughout this work, we compare the theoretical data produced by the new model herein proposed in opposition to those already existing and widely accepted for the photon obtained, either theoretical or experimental. Comparing both cases, it can be assumed that there is a strong adherence between them (Table 1, column C/D and E/F). It must be said, however, considering the operational nature of this work, that we have not gone accuratelyin to detail through the immense theoretical gaps in the new model proposed herein (exception is made to the content of the Appendix A and B). Our intention is to conduct further work, indicating, in this case, the sequence to simplify the search (002, 003, ...).
