Abstract:
The so-called relativistic explanation of the Fizeau experiment was found to be wrong, but relativists still use it to demonstrate the validity of the special theory of relativity, describing the Fizeau experiment as the most important experiment for the special theory of relativity [1]. The relativists deliberately misinterpret the experiment and hide the real facts that lead to the Fresnel’s drag coefficient. A brief summary of the attempts to explain Fresnel’s coefficient at the time when it was not yet known what the water (matter) was made of is presented in [2].
