Abstract:
In the paper, A. Sfarti describes Hammar experiment [1], conducted 1934 on a hill near Moscow. Sfarti concludes [2]: “The note (G. M. Hammar, 1935) is important because it provided the final step to fully falsify the theory of “entrained aether”.”
This conclusion is unfounded since it is now well-known from the GPS that the ether is at rest relative to the earth-centered non-rotating coordinate system [3]. It is also known that the matter if it is not very large, does not entrain the ether [4, 5, 6].
