Abstract:
The circumstances of refraction have been understood for centuries and it is
extraordinary that Einstein's General Relativity has encouraged the invention
of so many alternative circumstances for light to be deflected from a straight
path, when gas clouds, heat differentials and the different densities of celestial
atmospheres can explain all light deflection- and Black Holes.
I investigate the flaws in the current explanations for the 'bending' of light and
detail the attributes of a refractive answer.
