Abstract:

This paper provides a numerical method for estimating the value of the series sum of any alternating infinite series, for any value of the exponent, for which a closed form does not exist. In particular, it covers the series sums of the opposing exponent Zeta and Eta series, (odd exponents), and the Xi series (even exponents).
