Abstract:
Among the equations which represent the special theory of relativity are the Lorentz transformation and Einstein’s energy-momentum relationship. These equations hold in macro level free space, but in another paper the author has derived the energy-momentum relationship of the bound electron in a hydrogen atom. If symmetry is taken into account, there may exist a transformation applicable inside the atom. Thus, this paper derives that transformation by assuming that an unknown transformation exists. In addition, an equation different from the velocity addition law of the special theory of relativity is derived from that transformation.
According to the special theory of relativity, the velocity of objects with mass cannot exceed the speed of light. However, the velocity addition law derived in this paper permits particles to overtake light. This is important counter-evidence against the special theory of relativity.
