Abstract:
This satire highlights a conflict between two widely accepted but mutually exclusive ways of understanding inertial forces. One view holds that these forces arise from inertial motion itself. The other treats them as artefacts of observing motion from a rotating frame of reference. The satire argues that the second interpretation is misleading: what appears as a frame-dependent effect is an illusion of perspective, while the inertial forces themselves are real and become significant when objects are constrained to co-rotate within a physically rotating system.
