Abstract:

Ce travail analyse l’indétectabilité du mouvement absolu dans les expériences interférométriques. Il montre que cette absence de détection provient de la structure des observables, fondées sur des trajets lumineux aller-retour, qui compensent les effets directionnels au premier ordre en v/c. Dans le vide comme dans un milieu réfringent, les asymétries de propagation existent mais disparaissent dans la mesure finale. Même l’effet de Fresnel ne permet pas d’accéder à une vitesse absolue, car les contributions cinématiques se compensent. Ainsi, la relativité apparaît comme une structure émergente liée aux procédures de mesure. L’indétectabilité du mouvement absolu constitue une limite intrinsèque des méthodes expérimentales. Cette analyse conduit à un renversement de perspective : ce qui est observé comme invariant ne traduit pas nécessairement une propriété fondamentale du réel, mais peut résulter d’un mécanisme de reconstruction qui efface l’information cinématique. Le mouvement absolu, s’il existe, ne serait pas absent, mais dissimulé par la symétrie des protocoles expérimentaux. Ce travail invite ainsi à repenser le lien entre mesure et réalité, en explorant des configurations capables de rompre cette compensation. Elle ouvre ainsi la voie à une interrogation plus profonde : et si les lois physiques exprimaient autant les limites de l’observation que la structure du réel lui-même ?
