Abstract:
This second part of the article recalls the inevitable inaccuracy of mathematics as the language of physics. This raises the problem of the suitability of mathematical languages, both infinitist and finitist, which cannot give the exact results that one would expect them to give. As an alternative, the article considers computational languages and discrete models such as cellular automata, in which such accuracy could indeed be fully achieved.
