consistent axiomatization of classical mechanics, the historical-empirical research method to descend from the concrete to the abstract, mapping of the physical reality into the axiom system of classical mechanics
Abstract:
In this work a consistent axiomatization of classical mechanics is presented. In order to find a historical foundation for the axiomatization of physical theories, the historical- empirical research method is used to descend from the concrete to the abstract; the physical process of cognition and the physical reality are represented abstractly and schematically from their earliest historical beginnings to the fully developed axiom sys- tem. Subsequently, the physical reality existing independently of the physicist and his measuring instruments is mapped (= postulated) within the axiom system of classical mechanics. The law of inertia, the principle of relativity, the correspondence principle, and the law of conservation of momentum are derived directly from the axioms of clas- sical mechanics.
