Abstract:

The empirical impossibility of correctly measuring "Lorentz contractions" in relativistic systems is proved. It is shown that the illusion of these contractions arises due to an incorrect interpretation of the rotation of the four-dimensional space-time vector. The problem of translating characteristics and information from one specific physical surveillance system to another is actualized. The need for fundamental philosophical support of this problem is emphasized.
