Abstract:

The special (STR) and general (GTR) theories of relativity occupy a special place in modern physical science and our understanding of the basic laws governing fundamental processes on Earth and in space. Now STR and GTR are taught in all schools and physics departments of universities around the world. The prestige of its creator, Albert Einstein, is incredibly high. It is believed that he solved the overwhelming majority of mysteries of nature, about space, time, gravity, inertia of bodies, and more. The press of all countries, and not only the scientific, but also the public media, often mention him when any significant scientific discovery is made. The names of such scientists as Newton and Maxwell pale in comparison to his name.
