Abstract:

Over the past century, relativity theories have led the way in seeking an explanation for gravitation, being both sophisticated and fascinating. In this milieu, non-relativistic explanations that had previously been actively pursued are regarded merely for their historic interest. The following paper reviews some of these historical classical theories and addresses considerations such as the enigmatic high speed of gravitational messages and the possibility of universal pressure in explaining both the strong and the weak forces. In the author’s view, the challenge to work on a theory in classical physics and Euclidean space is warranted. This paper may be a small step forward in developing a non-relativistic theory of gravitation.

Thanks, Steve,
My other motivation for publishing this paper is the unqualified influence relating to relativity. Hitler didn't like Einstein's ideas. Therefore the Germans also opposed them. The remainder didn't dare question relativity. As far as I know, Hitler was no astrophysicist and the pope was no astronomer. Yet Galileo was put under house arrest and we still find theoretical physicists shirk at discussing non-relativistic theories of gravitation.

You are correct, and so was Fatio. Ether flow - I call it Graviton flow - into every mass is the cause of gravity and also makes the Sun glow, and keeps the Earth warm.
