Abstract:

In this paper I discuss the origins, development, key elements, and criticisms of the “mainstream” climate model. There have been many research papers, videos, books, and other forms of publications promoting what I refer to as mainstream climate change. Advocates for the model associated with this topic have claimed that 97% of climate scientists support its claims that human forcing via such things as burning fossil fuels are taking us to an irreversibly unstable climate system. The purpose of this paper, and the companion GSJ articles planned for the near future, is to bring clarity to the development, processes, models, physics, observations, claims, … all in all, a better understanding of just what might really be happening to our planet’s climate system and hopefully, bring comfort to those who are concerned about the future. I am not claiming to have all the answers. No one but God does due to the extreme complexity our climate system.
