The first half of this paper provides a historical resume of certain well-known scientific facts and experimental results that have been misinterpreted, and which have thus impeded the ever-present evolutionary processes of thought and understanding in science and philosophy. The second half applies a new concept in science, as detailed in The Quantum Field Theory, also known as The Absolute Theory, to demonstrate the real vector relationship of particle and field velocities and energies and to derive the equations for mass, momentum and energy increment with velocity, without recourse to either the Lorentz transformation or the special theory of Einstein.
