Abstract:
On September 1, 1934, the apparatus was set up on the top of a high hill about two miles south of Moscow, and many observations were made in all azimuths during the daylight hours of September 1, 2, and 3. No shift of the interference fringes was observed, although conditions were very favorable, and a shift of 1/10th fringe would easily have been seen.
I conclude that Professor Miller’s explanation of the difference between his results and those of the other investigators is not correct.
