Abstract:
The G-clef (GC) piano/harp/accordion (GCP/GCH/GCA) is a variant of piano/harp/accordion notation in which the left hand (LH) staff uses instead of a standard F-clef (FC), an alternative G-clef (GC), GC 8vb (GC8vb) (aka GC in ”ottava bassa”) or 15mb (GC15mb) (aka GC in ”quindicesima bassa”) which means that LH notes should be played in GC but one or two octaves lower (8vb or 15mb) than written.
