Abstract:

In spite of cyclic developments of all phenomena in the nature and human life, the continual progress of civilization is the historical axiom. On the other hand, the majority of ancient doctrines advocated the cyclic turning of each development. The historical time may be thus understood as the temporary rise, the segment of the wider cyclic or spiral developing line. The following look back on the history of physics speaks in favor of this thesis and points to possible regularities of the development. The history seems to be more arranged than may be expected.
