I think you should better say:
Hence, every inertial reference frame OBSERVES that the other inertial
frames' masses are increasing, their length contracting and their time
dilating. This is NOT self-contradicting. This is what special relativity is.
That you may not believe it or not like it is no proof it is invalid.

Einstein used the property of the light speed (constant for every observer)
to derive his theory of special relativity.
Light is not used for observation, the "observation" is (mathematically) direct,
which is clear from the Lorentz Transformation. You can add the observation
effects (using light signals) to the transformations and then you find the
relativistic Doppler effects.
