Abstract:

The speed of light (in vacuum) is often being treated as a barrier in the context of Einstein's relativity. But it appears that Einstein's deduction that there was a light speed barrier was a non sequitur from his relativity and that Einstein did change his mind about it. So the light speed barrier does not exist.
