Mechanism of Fatio is of universal character, and the manifestation of such universality is its effectualness in different media composed with particles in state of chaotic motion. Such media are ether, gazes, and even liquids. If at some temperature the repelling forces inherent to atoms or molecules of a substance prevail over the push-together forces of Fatio at all the distances between them and at all their mutual orientations, the substance is to be in gaseous state. If though the repelling forces inherent to atoms or molecules of a substance are inferior to the push-together forces of Fatio, but only at certain combinations of their mutual distances and orientations, whereas at all other such combinations the repelling forces prevail over the push-together ones, the substance is in liquid state. If at some temperature the push-together forces dominate the repelling ones at least at some minimum distance between the atoms or molecules and independently of their mutual orientation, the substance would be solid. Atom's or molecule’s temperature is their speed of rotation around their own axes, i.e. of their spin...
