The people most disappointed with the E = m.c^2 hoax will be the investors into the cheap energy production scheme. Just like the alchemists, there are daily, weekly news releases of fresh successes in achieving higher powered lasers making the energy out / energy in inching closer to one. Brilliant.
There is no fusion power. I takes energy to fuse atoms. Matter can't be converted to power. Simple physics.
