The author of the article asks a question.
Talking about time dilation and about the light clock is the most fundamental part concerning the special theory of relativity, SR. To me it is clear how the photon moves either the light clock is at absolute rest or it is moving in an inertial frame of reference. The photons move in both cases in the same way, only vertically. As a result, there is no time dilation and one can conclude that SR is nonsense.
