Black holes have not been confirmed as existing by recent exciting pronouncements in the news media; there is a get-out clause that is often overlooked.

Even if it existed, Black Hole would be an inappropriate name. It should be called a Black Pile or something along that line. The main feature is mass/gravity, not light.
There is another question. If gravity is propagated with the speed of light c, how does gravity escapes a Black Hole? Must be a special rule or magic.
Oh, yes, I forgot about the spacetime smoke and mirrors.
