Abstract:
Maybe the rejection of the ether idea a hundred years ago , will prove to be the most terrible mistake of scientific research. Many years later researchers observed a mysterious gravitational effect in galaxies and resulted in the concept of dark matter but all efforts in order to identify it, failed because they are looking for in a rather unrelated area of research. In this article the gravity field distortion effect in moving stars, is presented, which went practically unnoticed up to now but reveals the main reason of Michelson-Morley experiment failure , supporting further the notion that dark matter is nothing else than a revised form of the well known “luminiferous ether” Consequently dark matter is a fluid form of material entity filling all the universe, not only galaxies, and as we will realize it constitutes the fundamental substance of creation which at the same time plays the role of the natural universal reference system. Based on a simple reasoning we proceeded into estimate of its elasticity and material density. Further some data are presented in order to help readers to realize how universe is functioning and how the various form of matter or forces arise from this kind of dark matter in a simple way.
