The world is faced with many difficult choices about electrical energy supplies. Should we phase out Coal? Should Nuclear Power usage increase or decrease? Is there enough Natural Gas to replace other sources, and should we use it? Finally, should we push to use Renewable Energy because of concerns about Climate Change? The analysis below considers the advantages and disadvantages of each, and concludes that Coal will be with us for a long time, Natural Gas will be increasingly used, Nuclear Power will expand slowly, and Wind and Solar are iffy at best.
