Dear Colleagues:

It's not too late to sign up for the next big event in independent science, the Electric Universe (EU) Conference 2012 in Las Vegas this January 6-8 (http://www.thunderbolts.info/eu2012/ ). Along with many great speakers from the EU community, such as Wal Thornhill, Dave Talbott, and Don Scott, the conference will feature NPAers Dr. Bill Lucas, Dr. Ed Dowdye and Greg Volk. And if you attended Public Day at NPA-18, you know what a treat it will be to hear Dr. Gerald Pollack describe some of his amazing experiments on the electrical properties of water – yep, just plain old water. So come prepared for a conference filled be with scientists discussing the underappreciated role of electricity and magnetism in the cosmos, the sun and planets, the atom, the human body, and, well, everywhere. And of course there will be ample opportunity for you to share and discuss your ideas with about 200 attendees.

Our collaboration with the EU community has helped and will continue to help the NPA grow in membership, in public awareness, and perhaps most important, in scientific knowledge. They are also co-sponsors of the weekly video conferences. You can continue to build that relationship, as well as enjoy a great conference, when you come. We encourage you to support the EU as they have supported us, since this can only help both organizations. And if you live where it's cold (like Minnesota – brr!), here's a chance to get away for a long weekend. If you don't, well, lucky you. Anyway, flights to Las Vegas are pretty cheap now, especially if you purchase tickets before December 15. (Prices generally climb once you're inside the three-week window). Need more incentive? One objective of this conference will be to kick off the newly forming International Science Foundation (ISF), whose aim is to fund scientific research in areas that would otherwise be prematurely dismissed. If you share the vision of funding and publishing the kind of research that would promote NPA, please let me know and please consider attending. Things are definitely moving forward, and you can still be part of it. We sincerely hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you there. But don't take my word for it. ELECTRIC UNIVERSE—THE EMERGING VANGUARD*

Call it progress by surprise. It's now clear that many more exceptional scholars and scientists have been following our work than anyone had realized. That's the explanation for a fact we've mentioned before but not attempted to explain: that graduate education levels of visitors to the Thunderbolts site exceed those of almost any other science site you'll find on the Internet.

At the same time, we are attracting large numbers of lay people who simply /want to know/. The Electric Universe connects with people at the level of their deepest personal interests. Things that always seemed obscure suddenly make sense. No message has been stated to us more frequently by the newly inspired crowd around us. Remote events in the cosmos, regional events in the solar system, our own planetary history, the electricity of life, quantum mysteries, and the evolution of human consciousness all find their place on a more unified conceptual landscape. The universe is not just a collection of fragments for specialized investigation and mathematical abstractions. Now, wherever we look in the cosmos, the electric force is active, unifying the fragments and achieving feats that were simply off the grid of "settled science" just a few years ago.

This idea of unparticle was first considered by F. Smarandache in 2004, 2005 and 2006, when he uploaded a paper on CERN web site and he published three papers about what he called 'unmatter', which is a new form of matter formed by matter and antimatter that bind together. In 2006 E. Goldfain introduced the concept of "fractional number of field quanta" and he conjectured that these exotic phases of matter may emerge in the near or deep ultraviolet sector of quantum field theory. H. Georgi proposed the theory of unparticle physics in 2007 that conjectures matter that cannot be explained in terms of particles using the Standard Model of particle physics, because its components are scale invariant. Papers on current trends in High Energy Physics about exotic matter, about connections between unmatter and unparticle, about Neutrosophic Logic as new research in Theoretical Physics, should be sent to the organizer preferably by email.

OPERA experiment reports anomaly in flight time of neutrinos from CERN to Gran Sasso Geneva, 23 September 2011. The OPERA experiment observes a neutrino beam from CERN 730 km away at Italy's INFN Gran Sasso Laboratory. The OPERA result is based on the observation of over 15000 neutrino events measured at Gran Sasso, and appears to indicate that the neutrinos travel at a velocity 20 parts per million above the speed of light, nature's cosmic speed limit. Given the potential far-reaching consequences of such a result, independent measurements are needed before the effect can either be refuted or firmly established.
